URGENT APB: ADDENDUM
In part one of this APB, I sent a link that IMHO should be viral. However I am fully aware that the average guy or gal, simply does not have the time to sit through a 3+ hour meeting of extremely painful “wall-speak”. — That’s my new word for Wall Street jargon. Please pass it on.
I think however 30ish minutes is something most of the busiest people on the planet could spare to get the gist of what was said and discussed in the FDIC meeting in question. So I urge you to give this man some of your time.
He’s a straight shooter, of sound mind, and calls a spade a spade. He’s not a prophet or a mystic. He makes mistakes, like anyone else. But he is a veteran, an older gentleman, wise and shrewd. We’d all do well to listen to what he is saying. He does an amazing job at summarizing the highlights of what the FDIC have full knowledge of — and planned for. Keeping also mind, … this meeting occurred many months ago, long before the domino rally nightmare that started to unfold this past week.
I work in the airline industry… when a flight crew executes emergency procedures for “rough landings” — Airline speak for crash — The Flight crews’ SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is to yell out loud at full vocal capacity in a timed pulse like fashion “BRACE, BRACE, BRACE”. “BRACE, BRACE, BRACE” when collision is imminent…
In case you haven’t noticed, the current state of affairs in the financial sector is akin to an airplane rapidly losing altitude. In laymen’s terms after the past week, the flight crew is in their jump seats strapped in with one hand nervously on the intercom waiting for the captains call to assume the crash position and start yelling:
BRACE! BRACE! BRACE!
Do not be foolhardy, do not panic, do not incur extra debt, and do not worry about to tomorrow. But today, might be a good day to visit Wallyworld and Costco to get a few extra things for the pantry like rice, beans, canned goods and water.
“So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
Matthew 6:34
